Vanta is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the re-platforming of their data layer within the Foundations team, working remotely from Canada.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the migration from a Mongo-centric architecture to a schema-aware, Postgres-backed infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing reliable, high-throughput streaming systems while ensuring the integrity of audit-critical compliance data. This role requires driving technical solutions across multiple teams and ensuring system correctness during complex migrations.
