What we collect

An account is optional — you can browse and search every job on RemoteJobSearch without signing in.

If you create an account, we collect the email address you sign in with (used only for passwordless magic-link sign-in), the jobs you save as favorites, and the job alert criteria you set — country, categories, seniority, employment type and minimum salary.

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect your email address and your consent to receive email updates.

Why we use it

We use your account email to send you sign-in links and, if you set up a job alert, an email when a new role genuinely matches your criteria — no match, no email.

We use newsletter subscriptions to send occasional search tips and product updates. Our legal basis for both is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run RemoteJobSearch, each processing only what they need to provide their service: Supabase (account sign-in and database hosting), MailerSend (sending alert and newsletter emails), and Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery). We do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data until you delete your account or ask us to remove it, and newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. You can review and change your choices any time via Cookie Settings in the footer.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at hello@remotejobsearch.com. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

We may update this notice as the service develops. The latest version will always be available on this page.
