Principal Security Awareness & Human Risk Engineer

GitLab is hiring a Principal Security Awareness & Human Risk Engineer to lead global security education and phishing simulation programs. This fully remote role is open to candidates based in the US, Canada, or the UK.

As a strategic contributor within the Security Assurance team, you will evolve GitLab's global security awareness strategy, moving from compliance-based metrics to measurable behavior change. You will manage the full lifecycle of training programs, phishing simulations, and vendor partnerships while influencing security culture across technical and non-technical teams. The role requires a candidate who can articulate complex security topics and effectively navigate a distributed enterprise environment.
