Anthropic is hiring an Energy Scheduling & Portfolio Lead to manage energy availability risk and scheduling for their non-cloud data center portfolio within the United States.

As the first dedicated owner of this function, you will build models and processes to track energy needs against planned compute load. You will act as the operational counterpart to ISO/RTO scheduling coordinators and manage complex energy agreements, gas-fired supply, and curtailment risks to ensure reliable energy delivery for data center operations.

What You’ll Bring

8+ Years in energy markets, power scheduling, or utility operations
Hands-on experience with scheduling and settlement review in ISO/RTO markets
Proficiency in reading ESAs, PPAs, and utility large-load interconnection agreements
Experience with gas scheduling, nominations, and pipeline constraints
Proven track record of building scheduling or operations functions from scratch
