Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer in the UK to join their Alerting squad in a fully remote capacity.
As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain distributed systems for alert ingestion and delivery, contributing to the core Grafana open-source project. You will work within a remote-first engineering organization, drive projects from ideation through to operations, and provide mentorship to team members. The role requires a customer-focused mindset, pragmatism, and experience in scalable cloud-based systems.
