Grafana Labs is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to lead technical direction for the Tempo distributed tracing backend in a fully remote, multi-country European role.

As a Staff Engineer on the Tempo team, you will drive architecture and operational excellence for a large-scale observability platform. You will mentor engineers, lead multi-quarter initiatives for high-density APIs and autoscaling, and work within an open-source culture to evolve Tempo's capabilities for agent-driven, AI-powered observability.
