As a Staff Engineer on the Tempo team, you will drive technical strategy for Grafana’s open-source distributed tracing backend. You will lead high-impact initiatives, own core architecture, and mentor engineers while advancing Tempo's capabilities in observability, query performance, and AI-driven workflows in a fully remote environment.
