Grafana Labs is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to build AI-native observability services for their new data intelligence system. This remote role is open to residents of the USA and Canada, excluding Quebec.
As a Staff-level engineer, you will design and implement the architecture for a context layer management system, facilitating AI agents' access to enterprise data. You will work on a high-autonomy team to build production-ready services, focusing on retrieval orchestration, API access, and scalable SaaS foundations. The role demands pragmatic architectural decision-making and a collaborative approach to shaping the engineering practices of a new product area.
