As a Senior Backend Engineer for the Pyroscope database at Grafana Labs, you will lead projects, drive operational excellence, and shape product features in a fully remote environment. Applications are accepted from candidates based in the UK, Germany, Spain, Sweden, and Ireland.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end development of the Pyroscope open-source continuous profiling database, including ingestion, storage, and query components. You will work closely with other squads to improve trace-to-profile correlation and assist in evolving the platform for an agent-driven, AI-enabled future. The position requires a deep understanding of distributed systems and a pragmatic approach to balancing performance, cost, and complexity without dedicated product management support.
