Spotify is hiring an Engineering Manager for their Rights Systems team to support the development of a core intellectual property database. The role is fully remote for candidates within the North Americas region with an Eastern Standard time zone focus.
The Engineering Manager will lead a team of 7–8 engineers to build and maintain the RightsDB, a centralized repository for copyright and ownership data. You will partner with product, legal, and rights operations teams to define technical strategy and ensure reliable delivery of features for media content distribution. The position requires a leader capable of fostering an inclusive culture while overseeing operational health and on-call rotations for critical rights-management infrastructure.
