Reddit is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer for their Ads Foundational Representations team to work remotely from the UK or the Netherlands.

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, you will set the technical direction for multiple team pillars and lead cross-functional projects. The role balances 50% technical leadership and mentorship with 50% hands-on data analysis, modeling, and automation to advance Reddit's ad relevance and content embeddings.

What You’ll Bring

7+ Years of hands-on experience with the full lifecycle of designing, training, evaluating, testing, and deploying industry-level models
Demonstrated Staff-level technical leadership and mentorship without direct people-management authority
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong track record of working on content-rich NLP/CV problems at scale using embeddings
Experience with mainstream deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
Familiarity with the Ads domain, Search, or Recommender systems.
