Five9 is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer based in the UK to support and operate their global cloud contact-center voice network in a remote, 24/7 production environment.

The successful candidate will manage VoIP, SIP, and RTP flows, oversee carrier interconnects, and handle incident response within a highly available infrastructure. This role involves direct collaboration with customers, vendors, and the internal Network Operations Center to ensure service quality and troubleshoot complex telecommunications issues.

What You’ll Bring

3-5 Years of experience in telecom engineering with VoIP/SIP applications
Working knowledge of voice and data communications including SIP, TCP/IP, and MPLS
Hands-on experience with Ribbon SBCs and PSX
Proficiency in VoIP protocols and codecs including H.248, G.711, G.729, and WebRTC
Ability to maintain direct connect SIP Trunks to customers and carriers
