Canonical is hiring an Ubuntu Security Engineer for a fully remote position available worldwide to monitor, triage, and remediate vulnerabilities in open source software.

As an Ubuntu Security Engineer, you will contribute to securing the Ubuntu ecosystem by auditing source code, managing vulnerability patches, and developing security-focused features. The role requires collaboration with the internal team and the broader open source community, as well as attending international team meetings several times a year. Candidates should have a strong background in security practices and proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
