GitLab is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer in the Washington, DC metropolitan area to deliver secure implementations for federal agencies. This is a remote role restricted to the DC Metro area due to local federal engagements.

In this role, you will lead delivery workstreams on federal engagements, installing and configuring GitLab in highly classified, air-gapped, and disconnected networks. You will manage migrations from legacy tools, harden deployments against DISA STIG and FIPS standards, and guide government stakeholders on security compliance.

What You’ll Bring

Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
Ability to reside and work in the Washington, DC metropolitan area
Experience delivering infrastructure or platform work in a customer-facing or consulting role
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
Experience deploying and administering GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes
Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks like FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or DISA STIGs
