Kraken is seeking a Head of Engineering for their KrakenFlex division to lead the optimization and control teams responsible for real-time energy grid balancing. This is a fully remote, worldwide leadership position focused on scaling high-performance algorithmic engines.
As Head of Engineering for the Optimisation & Control chapter, you will oversee the mathematical engine of the KrakenFlex platform, ensuring its scalability and stability as it expands into new global territories. You will manage multiple teams and leads, driving the technical vision for real-time dispatch systems and predictive models while balancing innovation with platform reliability. The role requires strategic leadership to align engineering output with business objectives in a complex, data-intensive energy environment.
