Supabase is hiring a remote Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to develop Multigres, their open-source horizontally scalable Postgres system. The role is open to global candidates and focuses on sharding, consensus protocols, and replication infrastructure.
As a Multigres Engineer, you will architect and implement foundational database components including query routing, consensus-based replication, and change data capture pipelines. You will collaborate asynchronously with the open-source community and internal teams to push the horizontal scalability of PostgreSQL.
