GitLab is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Platform Readiness team to build internal developer tooling for cross-platform validation using agentic AI workflows. This is a fully remote position available to candidates in Canada and the United States.
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will serve as a technical anchor for the newly formed Platform Readiness team. Your primary responsibility is to architect and evolve systems that automate platform readiness assessments, reducing compatibility risks and manual operational burdens across GitLab's deployment platforms. You will work on agentic workflows using the Duo Agent Platform to ensure features ship successfully.
