GitLab is hiring a Staff Infrastructure Security Engineer for a fully remote role based in India, Israel, the UK, or the US to lead cloud infrastructure security and AI-assisted engineering initiatives.

As a Staff Infrastructure Security Engineer within the Product Security team, you will define technical strategy for public cloud and SaaS platform security. You will lead threat modeling, drive remediation across global infrastructure components, and mentor engineering teams while integrating AI into security automation workflows.

What You’ll Bring

Expert knowledge of security for cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
Proficiency in Go, Python, or Ruby with production-quality security tooling track record
Extensive experience with Infrastructure-as-Code security (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and policy-as-code
Hands-on experience applying AI to security workflows
Track record of leading multi-team technical initiatives
Familiarity with security certifications like FedRAMP, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI-DSS
