Affirm is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer based in Poland to improve system reliability, incident management, and platform scaling.

As a Senior SRE at Affirm, you will lead engineering efforts to strengthen system resilience and incident response while mentoring team members. You will collaborate with infrastructure, product, and developer experience teams to optimize observability, define SLOs, and implement robust deployment practices in a cloud-native environment.

What You’ll Bring

4+ Years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale
Proficiency in scripting and development languages like Bash, Python or Kotlin
Proven track record of developing highly available distributed systems using technologies like AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes
4+ Years working in a Site Reliability or Production Engineering team
Experience contributing in or driving parts of the Incident Lifecycle process
Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional global collaboration
