GitLab is hiring an Intermediate Backend Engineer to develop agentic workflow components and platform requirements for their DevSecOps orchestration platform, open to candidates in Canada and the United States.

As part of the Platform Readiness team, you will build internal developer tools that automate platform compatibility checks across Self-Managed, Dedicated, and GitLab.com environments. You will contribute to the Core Agentic Workflow and requirements schema while collaborating with infrastructure and security teams to improve shipping reliability.

What You’ll Bring

Software engineering experience with backend focus
