OpenAI is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to optimize latency, reliability, and cost-efficiency for ChatGPT and their developer API in a fully remote role based in the USA.
In this individual contributor role, you will analyze and optimize the full stack from application layers to GPU utilization and infrastructure. The position involves collaborating with platform and training teams to establish performance goals, SLAs, and SLOs while driving complex investigations into production issues. You will be responsible for creating observability tooling and influencing architecture to ensure high-scale product performance.
