Reddit is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to develop their web media player and supporting APIs in a fully remote role based in the United States.

In this role, you will lead the technical design and development of media web experiences, building low-latency playback solutions for video and audio content. You will work cross-functionally to implement end-to-end fullstack features, optimize UI components with React and TypeScript, and manage backend APIs in Go or Python. The position involves collaborating with platform engineers to improve global media performance while mentoring junior team members.
