Principal, Executive Communications

The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a senior communications expert to serve as a primary strategic partner and speechwriter for their CEO and executive team. This is a fully remote position that requires alignment with Eastern Time working hours.

In this role, you will lead executive communications across a global portfolio, crafting narratives, speeches, and thought leadership content while managing media relationships. You will work autonomously within a distributed, matrixed organization to ensure the foundation's vision is effectively communicated to complex stakeholder groups. The role involves regular collaboration with internal teams, including the Chief of Staff and media relations, and requires occasional travel for professional engagements.
