Stripe is seeking a foundational Backend Engineer for their AI Security team to build defenses and security infrastructure for their AI stack on a worldwide remote basis.
As the first engineer on this dedicated team, you will design and implement security primitives to protect Stripe’s AI infrastructure against threats such as prompt injection and tool misuse. The role involves a balance of partnering with internal AI engineering teams and developing low-level security tooling that sits directly in the inference path.
