Canonical is seeking a technical leader to transition into an Engineering Manager role for their global Ubuntu Linux kernel team, open to applicants worldwide.
In this pivotal role, you will lead and mentor a distributed team of engineers responsible for the delivery, maintenance, and optimization of the Ubuntu kernel. The position is designed for experienced individual contributors or tech leads who are ready to step into formal management and collaborate with major cloud and silicon partners. While Linux kernel experience is a strong asset, it is not strictly required, provided you have a solid foundation in systems programming.
