Freedom of the Press Foundation is seeking a contract security researcher to support the SecureDrop team in a fully remote, part-time role.
This six-month engagement involves conducting application security reviews, performing threat modeling, and advising on hardening strategies for SecureDrop components. The role requires a candidate experienced in secure systems design, Linux security, and production-level coding in Python, TypeScript, or Rust to work within a collaborative, distributed open-source team.
