Architect the backend economy that powers creator monetization, subscriptions, marketplaces and payments in VRChat. The full-time role is remote from anywhere.
Design scalable Node.js and TypeScript services for wallets, entitlements, payouts, reconciliation and economic analytics, with strong requirements for correctness and auditability. VRChat is looking for an experienced backend engineer who understands payments, transactional data, databases, observability and compliance, and can own services through deployment and production operations.
