Blackbird Interactive is hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer for a 5-month contract to lead the UI/UX adaptation of a simulation game for new platforms.

The successful candidate will lead and mentor a design team, collaborate across engineering and production, and ensure intuitive, accessible user interfaces. This role requires deep experience with game ports or complex simulation systems and specifically targets candidates eligible to work and residing within Canada.

7+ Years of professional UI/UX design experience in games

Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Adobe Animate
Experience designing controller-first interfaces and platform-specific UX
