GitLab is seeking a Staff Backend Engineer to drive developer experience improvements across global teams, available to residents of Canada, the UK, and the US.

As a Staff Backend Engineer in the Developer Experience group, you will lead initiatives to modernize testing, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and reduce systemic bottlenecks for internal engineering teams. This highly visible role involves hands-on coding in Ruby and Go, influencing technical culture, and shaping the future of the internal Developer Experience platform.
