CloudLinux is hiring a hands-on Staff Engineer to lead SecureChain, a product focused on open-source software supply chain security, in a 100% remote worldwide role.

This individual contributor role involves shaping the technical direction of SecureChain, balancing 70% hands-on software development with 30% technical product ownership. You will design scalable architectures, define milestones, and deliver production-grade components while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a fully remote, globally distributed environment.

Proven experience owning major projects or workstreams end-to-end
Strong backend engineering experience in Python, Go, or Java
Strong system design and architectural thinking with hands-on implementation
Experience refining requirements into technical plans and deliverables
Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools for the full software development lifecycle
Ability to work independently without close day-to-day supervision
