Ping Identity is seeking a Senior SRE based in Italy to manage global production EKS clusters and drive infrastructure automation.

As a member of the Recognize Platform team, you will focus on high-ownership tasks involving GitOps, AI-driven engineering workflows, and mission-critical identity services. The role requires close collaboration with delivery and software engineering teams to ensure scalable and secure platform foundations.

Proven professional experience as an SRE or DevOps Engineer

Solid experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management using Helm, Terraform, and Crossplane

Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Istio, and Flux

Hands-on experience deploying and operating container workloads on EKS

Experience building operational awareness through monitoring and alerting using New Relic, Splunk, and PagerDuty

Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools, ideally CircleCI
